More than two decades ago, Paul landed his first fulltime job as a reporter, working for "Traffic World," a weekly trade magazine covering the transportation industry. In the years since, he's moved between the B2B world and the mainstream press, adopting best practices and learning how to tell multimedia stories to a variety of audiences.

In the early days of the Web, Paul created an online news site that covered the waterborne trade of commodities. Later he was recruited to work as a producer for the financial news website of CNN. From there, he moved to About.com, where he oversaw dozens of online properties that covered personal finance and business. Following About's merger with Primedia, he was promoted to vice president and given editorial responsibility for the online properties of that company's trade magazines.
Today Paul is among the best-known bloggers in the world of journalism. In his consulting practice, Paul has produced email newsletters, Websites and mobile content for trade associations, corporations and B2B publishers.
